This Marketing and Publicity Agreement (“Agreement”) outlines how Global Fashion Directory LLC (“GFD,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) may use content and materials related to your business, including but not limited to user-submitted information, uploaded media, and publicly available materials such as limited website screenshots, for promotional, marketing, and educational purposes. By participating in GFD’s platform and services, you (“you,” “your,” or “User”) agree to the terms of this Agreement regarding the use of such content.

This Marketing and Publicity Agreement is part of GFD’s Terms of Service and is incorporated by reference into those Terms. By accessing or using any part of the Platform, you agree to be bound by the Terms of Service and this Marketing and Publicity Agreement.

1. Purpose

This Agreement allows GFD to use member-provided content (logos, images, etc.) in materials such as social media posts, case studies, newsletters and blog features, annual guide, outreach campaigns or industry events to promote both the directory and its members. This use is intended to enhance member visibility and provide value to the GFD community.

2. Types of Content Included

By agreeing to this policy, members grant GFD permission to use the following types of content in accordance with the limitations defined herein:

  • Business Name and Logo: As provided in the GFD profile.
  • Profile Summary: Including industry category and values submitted by the member.
  • Uploaded Images: Only images intentionally submitted for directory display. GFD will not collect or use imagery from member websites or unrelated online sources.
  • Verified Member Badge: If earned and issued.
  • Directory-Specific Visuals: For clarity, this agreement does not govern GFD’s use of limited website screenshots within the member’s own directory listing, which may be captured and displayed solely for business identification and verification purposes, as described in GFD’s Intellectual Property Policy. These visuals are not used for broader promotional or marketing campaigns without explicit consent.

3. How GFD May Use Content

GFD may use the approved content to promote:

  • Member presence in the directory
  • Annual showcases or highlights
  • Social media and email content under GFD branding
  • Educational or promotional materials under GFD’s direct control

Use of content outside of GFD branding (e.g., third-party licensing or sponsorships) is not permitted without additional consent.

4. Ownership and Licensing

Members retain full ownership of their logos, profile content, and images. GFD is granted a non-exclusive, royalty-free, revocable license to use content only for promotional purposes consistent with this agreement. GFD shall not sublicense member content to third parties.

5. Yearly Guides and Values

GFD may publish a yearly guide highlighting members based on certain company values, such as Environmental Impact, Social Responsibility, Sustainable Materials & Processes, and more. This guide is designed to showcase members that align with key industry values and to facilitate connections with like-minded partners and clients.

  • Selection Criteria: Members will be considered for inclusion based on profile-submitted information. Inclusion is based on the information provided by members and does not imply any tiered status. GFD reserves the right to confirm or request clarification of certain values if needed.
  • Distribution and Promotion: The yearly guide will be distributed digitally and/or in print, shared across GFD’s social media channels (including LinkedIn), and featured in GFD marketing materials. By agreeing to this Agreement, members consent to potential inclusion in this guide.

6. Duration and Opt-Out Process

This license remains in effect only for the duration of active membership and is revocable at any time. Members may contact GFD at info@globalfashiondirectory.com to request removal from future campaigns

Reasonable efforts will be made to remove content promptly from ongoing digital campaigns. GFD cannot guarantee removal from previously distributed print or archived materials.

7. Disclaimer of Endorsement

Participation in GFD’s promotional activities does not imply endorsement of any member, product, or service by GFD. Use of member content likewise does not signify that GFD verifies or endorses its accuracy.

8. Indemnification

Members agree to indemnify and hold harmless GFD from any claims or liabilities arising from GFD’s use of member content as permitted under this Agreement. This includes, but is not limited to, claims related to intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or misrepresentation.

9. Right to Modify Agreement GFD reserves the right to modify or update this Marketing and Publicity Agreement at any time to reflect legal or operational changes. Members will be notified of significant updates, and continued membership constitutes acceptance of the revised Agreement.
